Dick's Sporting Goods is a large sporting goods retailer headquartered in Findlay Township, Pennsylvania. They have 348 stores, primarily in the eastern half of the US, but in a total of thirty-four states. Founded in 1948 by Dick Stack, (who was just 18 at the time), the company has expanded enourmously since the 1990s, in part through acqusitions, and is now one of the largest in the world.
